Rev. Hyacinth N. Anie
Rev. Hyacinth N. Anie, the founder / director of Africa Centre for Theological Studies (ACTS) was born on May 13, 1957, in Benin City, Nigeria. After his secular education, he received the call into the Gospel Ministry. Brother Anie received ministerial training from Mid-West Bible College and Nigeria Advance School of Theology (NAST) - both part of the Assemblies of God denomination. He worked with the denomination for 10 years as a local church pastor and bible college teacher. Later on Brother Anie moved to Lagos to attend Mt Olives Christian University for a bachelor’s degree program. In 1994, he received a scholarship to study further at Centre for International Christian Ministries (CICM) in London, England. Brother Anie founded the ACTS Seminary in 1997 with just 3 students. Today ACTS has graduated over 300 ministers of the Gospel. Apart from the bible school assignment, Brother Anie pastors a branch church of the Soul Winning Chapel in Lagos. He is also the Ojo Zonal General Secretary of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. Rev. Hyacinth Anie is married to Alice Mayen, a principal education officer for the Federal Ministry of Defense. Their marriage is blessed with two children: Bright and Sarah.
